Brad Garrett rose to stardom as Robert Barone in the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Prior to his Emmy-winning role alongside Ray Romano, Garrett gained notoriety as a stand-up comedian. In fact, he was the first ever grand champion in the comedy category of the TV show Star Search. As a result, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson at the age of 23, and that’s where his comedy career took off.
Now, Garrett owns one of the most popular comedy clubs in Las Vegas. On top of his stand-up acts, Garrett is a professional poker player, which makes Vegas the perfect place to settle down. While he does not personally perform on a nightly basis, Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club does provide some of the best stand-up comics in the industry. Shows include a wonderful mixture of established stars and up-and-coming jokesters in order to create an all-around Vegas experience that leaves you wanting to come back for more.
Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club has called the MGM Grand home since opening its doors in 2012. Located in one of the busiest hotels on the strip, it is the perfect, quaint location for an entertaining comedy club. Garrett himself said that he modeled the club around the ambiance and style of the 1920’s. He wanted it to feel like the comedic version of a speakeasy. His mission was accomplished, as the small, personal feel of his club, coupled with the ideal location and iconic red curtains, makes it one of the most popular attractions in Vegas.
Mike Tyson is one of the fiercest and also one of the funniest boxers in history. After retiring from the combat sport, Tyson ventured into another side of the entertainment industry, appearing in a variety of films such as The Hangover series. Now, he has decided to take on stand-up comedy, and what better venue to truly absorb his lisp than BG’s Comedy Club.
